| The
Endiron Estate Bed & Breakfast is located at the west end
of Iron Avenue. Since 1884, Endiron has been a beloved
historical landmark of Salina, Kansas. The original
structure on this tract of land was Normal University.
In September of 1904, over a thousand students had graduated
before the University was engulfed in flames. Shortly
thereafter, a prominent Salina businessman, purchased the
tract of land located at 100 South College Avenue. He
built a lovely estate comprised of a home, horse barn,
carriage house, tennis courts, and sunken gardens. |

In
1997, the Endiron Estate property was purchased by Debra
Redman. She immediately proceeded, out of respect for
the historic and architectural significance to the community,
investing time, energy, and resources into restoring this
majestic dwelling to its original beauty and splendor. |

| On
March 14, 2003, during the "historic Preservation
Week", Ms. Redman, was presented an award, by the City of
Salina and the Heritage Commission, in recognition of the
restoration efforts of the Endiron Estate property. |

| Currently,
Endiron Estate is Salina's only Bed & Breakfast. The
main floor has original light fixtures and hard wood
floors. Guests can enjoy over 1,000 square feet of
